Rudolph and the elves helped Santa distribute specially-chosen gifts to everyone at the annual Christmas Surprise meeting on Wednesday.

Not everyone who had helped to think up the clever gifting ideas came to breakfast wearing his elf costume – earning John the Grinch title.

One of the heartiest laughs of the morning was for the autographed photo of a local developer, expressing his appreciation for the pleasure of doing business with Shelburne’s town manager.
