I look forward to serving as President of the Charlotte-Shelburne Rotary Club. 2009-2010 will have some exciting changes for us. This will be the second year with the new Club organization that promotes member involvement in all aspects of our Club. Each of the five committees (Public Relations, Membership, Club Administration, Club Projects and Rotary Foundation) are chartered to define and improve their process so that the Club operates more efficiently on a day to day basis. A second focus area will be assisting our new District Governor, Guy Babb, in the planning and implementation of the 2010 District Conference at the UVM this spring. Working with the other area clubs, we will be involved in all aspects of this event from lodging, food, speakers, entertainment, registration and a host of additional duties.

A third focus area will be to continue to:

a. Maintain and grow our rich history of community & international outreach projects for which we are known;
b. Provide quality speakers;
c. Promote fellowship within our club
